If you really want to know, I consider myself a singer that plays guitar. I began my musical life as a bass player, and then decided to move up to guitar in my late teens. I am self-taught, no dots for me!

Musicians and bands that have inspired me are Robin Trower, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Bad Finger, Squeeze, David Bowie, Black Sabbath, Junior Brown, Les Paul, Pink Floyd, ELP, Tom Petty, Chris Cornell, Grand Funk, Cream and so many others. I try to pay homage to these artists by performing music by most of them.

Al Frantic Fast Facts:
Favorite Color: Orange
Favorite Car: Shelby Cobra
Favorite Song: Theme From and Imaginary Western
Favorite Guitar: All of them
Favorite Amp: All of them
Favorite Quote: Still thinking...

In 2018 Mary and I pulled out of New Jersey and headed to the Beaches of Delaware and opened our business Frantic Frets in Milton. If you are looking for gently used guitars, amps, or antiques, please stop in! I will also be giving basic lessons for guitar and bass, repairs, set-ups and always open to jam!
