It’s about one moment. It’s about hitting the wall and having to make a choice… take a stand… or turn around and go back. These are the stories and characters of today, the Songs for a New World. The first musical from Tony Award winner, Jason Robert Brown (Parade, Bridges of Madison County), this moving collection of powerful songs examines life, love, and the choices that we make.

Cast:
Man 1 (Lead): Male, 18-36. Tenor Range D3-C5. A pop vocal power house with strong upper register. Youthful, intelligent with energetic optimism about what is ahead.
Man #2 (Lead): Male, 25-50. Baritone range F2-Ab4. Worldly wise – with subtle opinions and vulnerabilities.
Woman #1 (Lead): Female, 18-25. Soprano/Belt Range G3-F5. A Youthful and energetic yet sensitive ingénue with great vocals.
Woman #2 (Lead): Female, 35-55. Belter Range F3-F5. Character actress with great vocals, excellent comedic timing and dramatic sensibility. Dialect work plus.
