PCA PRODUCTIONS Presents Shakespeare Buzzed

Imagine if you discovered Shakespeare as a drinking game... Wouldn’t you appreciate Shakespeare more if you were drinking through the experience? PCA Productions is currently looking for 3-4 actors to fill an ensemble cast. Actors will have the freedom in this company to bring their own artistry and individual talents to the roles. And we're specifically looking for individuals who are eager to push the envelope of "a traditional theatre experience". Performers should be well-versed in Shakespeare, comfortable with improv and audience-interaction, possess outstanding comedic chops, commanding stage presence and an up-for-anything attitude. This is an ensemble piece and all actors are expected to have a positive attitude with a strong sense of teamwork and ensemble sensibility. PCA Productions encourages performers of all backgrounds, ages, sizes, races, physical abilities and gender-identities (and/or non-conforming) to audition. We are actively seeking a diverse cast! Must be 21 years of age to audition.

Auditions will be held from 6pm-9pm December 6, 2021 at the Milton Theatre, 110 Union st, Milton DE 19968. If you cannot make the audition feel free to send a 30 second video to productionmanager@pcashows.com. Please disclose any rehearsal conflicts with initial inquiry. Compensation for shows.

Audition outlines:

1: a one-minute Shakespeare monologue, played straight

2: 30 seconds of the same monologue switching dialects. We want to be able to see any other skills you might have to be able to bring to the improv side of the show
