Mardi Gras—the very name conjures images of vibrant parades, masked revelers, and a kaleidoscope of colors. We embrace this festive spirit for this year’s PRIDE as we honor a decade of love, acceptance, and community.
A Feast for the Senses: Just like the lively streets of New Orleans, our festivities will ignite your senses! Expect bold colors, intricate masks, and beads that shimmer like confetti. Let the rhythm of the drums and the sway of the feathers transport you to a world of joy!
Unity in Diversity: Mardi Gras transcends boundaries. It’s a celebration where everyone is welcome—regardless of age, background, or identity. As we commemorate our 10-year journey, we honor the diverse tapestry of our community. Together, we create a harmonious blend, just like the jazz bands that fill the French Quarter!

Quayside Stage: 4PM - Mama's Black Sheep
Mama’s Black Sheep is the soulful collaboration of singer-songwriters Ashland Miller (guitar/vocals) and Laura Cerulli (drums/vocals). Together, this duo creates a blend of hit worthy originals and covers with a unique spin. Each song allows you to travel with time, whether you’re swinging to Country, Rocking to Pop, Grooving to Soul, or swaying to the Blues; there’s always something to move your body and stir your soul! Mama’s Black Sheep has four well-received CD’s to their credit and are celebrating 15 Years of making music together in 2023.
Quayside Stage: 5:30PM - Rainbow Chorale
The Rainbow Chorale of Delaware is non-auditioned LGBTQ+ and allies community chorus and open to all adult singers at all levels of experience. We perform three major concerts a year and have an active outreach program of singing at community events.
The Rainbow Chorale of Delaware is an inclusive, non-profit community chorus that provides LGBTQ individuals, with their friends and allies, the opportunity to perform high-quality choral music in an affirming environment that serves as a positive force for change. In addition, the Rainbow Chorale supports other institutions and individuals who serve that community.
Love of music is common to everyone. When we sing, we hope to impart the ideals, hopes, dreams, and aspirations of our community. Our goal is that with our listening audience we will strike a chord of commonality, and bridge the differences of our life experiences.
Quayside Stage: 6:45PM - Christine Havrilla
Award-winning Philadelphia native Christine Havrilla has been touring for 25 years, bringing her “Neofunkadelicfolkpoptwangrock” to audiences everywhere. She has shared the stage with KT Tunstall, Brandi Carlile, Shawn Colvin, America, & Howard Jones to name a few. With her latest EP “California Night” (2023), Christine now has 13 Albums + 3 Eps as she continues to write and perform solo , duo, and with her band Gypsy Fuzz. John Vettese from WXPN’s The Key raves, “Rock and roll singer-songwriter Christine Havrilla has been a local favorite since the 90s, and her high-energy music is kindred in spirit with Sheryl Crow, Grace Potter, Brandi Carlile, & Lucinda Williams” Christine can also be found playing bass with Mama’s Black Sheep! Colleen Clark (Salisbury, MD), from Christine’s band, brings her musical magic and joins the holiday shows on electric guitar + bass
