Local filmmakers highlight May’s Revival House Slower Lower Shorts Festival

The Revival House is excited to announce the return of the Revival House’s short-film festival at the Milton Theatre! This year marks the return of the largest gathering of local shorts in the area, with a mix of comedy, drama, suspense, and fun from the area’s most talented filmmakers. The film program will highlight local filmmakers’ short films, followed by a question-and-answer session with all the directors immediately following the screening.

The Revival House, producer of the “Horror Trailer Challange” returns with a chance for a new crop of filmmakers to shine at the beautifully restored, historic Milton Theatre. Family and friends are invited to attend and vote for the “Audience Favorite”!

“After a long absence due to the pandemic, we are excited to once again host this event for local filmmakers, as it is one of our signature events that promotes the works of all the talented filmmakers we have in the region,” said Rob Rector, one of Revival House founders.

“As a filmmaker, having an opportunity to showcase your work in a place such as the Milton Theatre is such an honor,” added Revival House co-founder Rob Waters. “This is the largest showcase of local short films in the area, and we are happy to be able to help highlight local artists.”
