Close to You: Music of the Carpenters

The longest running Carpenters’ tribute in North America is beginning their 12 Year-Anniversary Tour! About Close to You Website | Facebook | Video Considered one of the best vocalists of all time, Karen Carpenter captured the attention of a generation with her unabashedly catchy pop music. The Carpenters’ beautiful, memorable love songs topped the Billboard charts with more than a dozen number one hits. Now singer Lisa Rock and her 6-piece band are bringing the music of The Carpenters back to the stage with their spot-on renditions of Carpenters classics with Close to You: The Music of The Carpenters. Lisa Rock has been performing to sold-out crowds for years. She’s written more than 15 original concerts and cabarets that have been seen across the country. Now, Rock has arranged a 6-piece band, complete with back-up singers, and together they are dedicated to creating a Carpenters experience like no other. Rock’s amazing four octave range allows her to sing the hits like “We’ve Only Just Begun” and “Rainy Days and Mondays” in their original key, keeping the songs genuine and more recognizable for the audience. “When she hits the lower range of her marvelous voice,” notes critic Alan Bresloff, “if you close your eyes, you can see Karen Carpenter’s face.”

Absolute Adele: Featuring Jennifer Cella

SET FIRE TO THE STAGE!Be prepared to be moved as Jennifer Cella captures the essence of Adele’s timeless hits, belting out powerful ballads and captivating the audience with their heartrending renditions! About Absolute Adele Website | YouTube | Facebook | Instagram In The Absolute Adele Tribute, Jennifer Cella delivers a stunningly accurate portrayal of the British songstress and pop icon, an artist she deeply admires. As a long-time fan, the seeds for this project started taking root many years ago upon the release of Adele’s debut album, “19”. From minute one, Jennifer fell in love with Adele’s unique style and voice, and spent hours immersed in the work of this rising star. As an accomplished singer who had already had success of her own with the world-renowned Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Jennifer recognized and admired the many various vocal techniques Adele has in her vocal toolbox, giving each lyric its own color and texture. She appreciated all the nuances and tones of Adele’s amazing instrument and became an adoring fan of her work. Jennifer’s adoration for Adele grew tenfold upon the release of her sophomore album, “21” which included hits such as “Rolling In The Deep’, “Set Fire To The Rain”, “Someone Like You” and “Rumor Has It” and catapulted Adele’s career status to bonafide superstar. Adele’s next album “25” had monster hits like “Hello”, “Send My Love” and “Water Under the Bridge”, but Jennifer’s connection to the lyrics was especially strong and resonated deeply with “All I Ask”, “When We Were Young” and “Remedy”, a song Adele wrote for her young son. While singing along, Jennifer felt like she was telling her own story through Adele’s lyrics. Her latest release “30” included the beautiful and poignant “Easy On Me”, which again Jennifer resonated deeply with, having shared the same life experiences that inspired Adele to write the song. The Absolute Adele Tribute is not just a concert. It is theatre, and Jennifer plays the role of Adele. Jennifer relies on her years of acting and theatre training to accurately portray the singer. She not only sings her songs but talks to the audience, explains the origins and backstories to the songs, just as Adele interacts with her audiences at her concerts. With ticket prices to Adele’s residency in Las Vegas ranging from $1500 to $30,000 per ticket, Jennifer is excited to make the music of Adele accessible to audiences all over the country with the Absolute Adele Tribute.

This show is guaranteed to bring back magical festive memories and set the mood for the most wonderful time of the year! About the Rat Pack Website | Video A MUST-SEE SHOW! Boy bands come and go, some leave a great impression, and others become a part of history and die out together with the generations that listened to them. However, there are groups or real men, singing and performing, but not in the modern ages. Back in the ’60s there was a group of entertainers called Rat Pack. That wasn’t, of course, the name they chose to be called, but the one given by press and general public. The Rat Pack is mostly known for their movies and live performances in casinos all over US, but particularly in Las Vegas.Although they only brought out albums, or rather collections, of songs in the 2000s, some of which they sung as a group, earlier they only did music separately. Still people refer to it as Rat Pack music and songs, mostly because they were so popular, so that only Frank Sinatra had an image for himself outside the group. There are even thousands of Rat Pack impersonators all over the world, and they take it to a whole new level with all of their jokes and the modern adaptation of what they were doing in the ’60s.Some of the best songs that are known as Rat Pack music were made by Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. The songs ‘Everybody Loves Somebody’ by Dean Martin and ‘Strangers in the Night’ by Frank Sinatra are the most popular ones. But there are also ‘That’s Life’ and ‘My Way’ by Frank Sinatra and also ‘I’ve Gotta Be Me’ by Sammy Davis, Jr. The three of them were the only members of the Rat Pack to really do popular music that was not only good, but also commercially successful. If you want to listen to some of them today, you can purchase them online, or even order a CD or record copy of them.
