Floydian Trip: Premier Pink Floyd Tribute – MATINEE

Prepare to be transported back to the golden age of progressive rock as Floydian Trip, the premier Pink Floyd tribute, takes over the Milton Theatre stage! This is more than just a concert—it is a meticulously crafted, multi-sensory journey through the sights and sounds that defined a generation! About Floydian Trip Website | YouTube | Facebook | Instagram Pink Floyd quickly became known for their visuals and light shows. The band has said that they weren’t much to look at so they needed to present something else while performing live. Early on, they used oil and light projections to create a stunning visual. From Dark Side of The Moon on, Floyd began using films, more lighting, and effects to conjure the mood and emotion of the music they were writing and performing. Floydian Trip combines the best of the early Floyd years and later years to make each show a visually pleasing experience. Whether through projections, lasers, lights, or other effects, Floydian Trip creates a spectacular experience authentic to Floyd’s famous touring years in the 1970s and 1980s. Floydian Trip aims to recreate some of the spectacular and moving live performances that Pink Floyd became known for in the 1970s and 1980s. This era is sometimes known as the “Roger Waters Years.” Floydian Trip recreates the sound in both the performance and tone of how Floyd would have been heard if you were seeing them live on stage during the Dark Side of the Moon Tour, Wish You Were Here Tour, In the Flesh (Pink Floyd) Tour, or The Wall Tour. Floydian Trip painstakingly recreates the classic Pink Floyd live experience. The band has poured over thousands of hours of official, unofficial, and bootleg audio and video of Pink Floyd between 1973 and 1981 in order to create the most authentic live Pink Floyd experience you can witness.

Jesse Garron’s Tribute to Elvis

THE CLOSEST THING TO THE KING!Jesse Garron’s Tribute to Elvis is ranked among the most respected acts in local and nationwide venues. Acclaimed as “The “Closest Thing to the King,” Garron has been performing his Tribute since 1997. Garron possesses the voice, looks, and charisma that made Elvis a superstar and draws audiences in from the minute he walks on stage. Jesse, backed by live musicians and female vocalists, performs songs that cross three generations of rock, pop, gospel, and oldies music, so the act has universal appeal. About Jesse Garron Website | YouTube | Facebook Jesse respectfully uses the name of Elvis’ twin brother who died at birth. He knows there was only one Elvis.  His show pays tribute to the man and his legacy.  Named “The Closest Thing to the King” by a reporter who saw him live back when he first started, the term stuck and to this day is reinforced by audiences after every show.Jesse comes from a family of singers and musicians and has an impressive vocal range. Inspired by Elvis at the age of four, Jesse was always mesmerized by Elvis’ magnificent voice and intrigued by everything Elvis from his music to his movies.  Despite being teased by his peers, Jesse stayed true to his idol.  He got his first break to pay him tribute at the age of 17 in a high school talent show where he packed the house and won the popular vote. Club owners later discovered him and encouraged him to sing in larger venues. The rest is history.Since his first performance in 1997, Jesse has grown to serve nationwide venues performing to sold-out audiences.  He has been invited to perform for the US Embassy in Algiers and even caught the attention of legendary Elvis guitarist, James Burton, after a show in Louisiana. Audiences who have seen Elvis in concert and other Elvis tribute shows are amazed by Jesse’s portrayal.  Even those with personal ties to the Presleys are impressed by the likeness.  Jesse’s show has drawn national media attention including billboards, radio interviews, television promotions and feature articles.  In 2019, he was inducted into the International Elvis Tribute Artist Hall of Fame for his dedication to keeping Elvis’ legacy alive.

Amish Outlaws

Featured as a “Top Entertainment Pick” in New York Magazine’s 2012 “In a very short time, this band has captured the hearts, minds, and butter churners of the masses with their hilarious onstage performances of everything from Bon Jovi to Snoop & Dre.” – Night & Day Magazine About Amish Outlaws Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube It is a little-known fact that most Amish practice a tradition similar to the Christian “Confirmation” and Jewish “Bar Mitzvah” called “Rumspringa” (literal translation: “running around”) in which Amish children at the age of 16 have an opportunity to live free of the strict Amish code of conduct before deciding if they want to come back and be baptized into the Amish church. Surprisingly, virtually all of the youths return. But sometimes they don’t. Four out of the original six members of The Amish Outlaws were born and raised in Lancaster, PA and had a strict Amish upbringing. No electricity from land lines, no alcohol, no musical instruments, but their spirits were too wild for the Amish lifestyle. Once they trampled in the Devil’s Playground, there was no turning back. In the years since Rumspringa, the members of the Amish Outlaws have become very well acclimated to the pleasures and vices of the modern world… music, most of all. Thus, with a bold lust for life and a fire for music and performance that can only come from 16 years of repression, The Amish Outlaws were unleashed upon the world.
