MEET SANTA!  Your kids will love the chance to have tea and cookies with their favorite characters at this interactive show. Yes, we really will be serving tea! Join your favorite characters for this audience-interactive holiday show. Hot or cold tea served with fresh-baked cookie. Characters will sing, dance, and tell stories all while engaging the entire audience. An after show meet and greet will allow participants to snap a photo with their favorite characters. Featuring the kids from the Milton Theatre’s “Triple Threat” musical theatre program!

Lion King Jr. Camp Show 2pm

Enjoy the hard work of our summer camp students in the Lion King Jr! Kids 12 and under are free excluding Balcony. Everyone must have a ticket to enter the theatre. About Lion King Jr Disney’s The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world, and now you have the opportunity to produce this one-of-a-kind musical in your community. Bring the African savanna to life on your stage with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale. The Lion King JR. features classic songs from the Broadway musical and animated feature film, including “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” “He Lives in You,” and “Hakuna Matata.” Young performers will also get the chance to learn a wide range of new theatrical skills—such as mask-making and puppetry—encouraging them to explore this beloved story with creativity and pride.

Journey Into Imagination: Musical Theatre Ensemble Fall Showcase – THURSDAY

Embark on an extraordinary odyssey through the boundless realms of creativity, where every stroke of inspiration, every note of harmony, and every burst of innovation is ignited by “one little spark”. Prepare to delve into the very core of imagination itself during our Fall Showcase for Musical Theatre Ensemble and Triple Threat Training. Together, let us venture Into Imagination… where the extraordinary awaits! About  Musical Theatre Ensemble Our Musical Theatre Ensemble (MTE) classes will focus on each of the three main concentrations of musical theater; voice, dance, and acting. Great emphasis will be placed on recognizing the relevance of each discipline as it relates to musical theater and preparing students for auditions and musical theatre performances. Each class period will be devoted to- 1) vocal development, 2) improving acting skills, 3) learning choreography; all to help students develop musical theatre skills. The culmination of this course will result with students gaining a broader understanding of musical theater from their participation in a fun and exciting musical theatre performance experience that will increase their abilities and help them to become well rounded performers. About Triple Threat Ensemble Act, Sing & Dance! A key term in musical theatre training is learning to be a ‘triple threat performer’, which means the ability to act, sing and dance to a high standard. The Triple Threat classes at the Milton Theatre bring these three disciplines together into a unified whole. The emphasis in these classes is to strengthen each of the elements equally to create a well-rounded Triple Threat performer. Only 10 students are accepted into the program each session.To join the Milton Theatre’s Triple Threat Training Program, students must be dual-enrolled in Musical Theatre Ensemble for that session.

About Matilda Jr Rebellion is nigh in Matilda JR., a gleefully witty ode to the the anarchy of childhood and the power of imagination! This story of a girl who dreams of a better life and the children she inspires will have audiences rooting for the “revolting children” who are out to teach the grown-ups a lesson. Matilda has astonishing wit, intelligence… and special powers! She’s unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Matilda’s school life isn’t completely smooth sailing, however – the school’s mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don’t abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils’ saving grace!
