Neil Diamond Tribute Featuring Sol Knopf Band

ENCORE Performance after Sold Out Shows Three Years in a Row! 2020 promised to be the busiest year in local musician Sol Knopf’s career, with 270 shows scheduled. In early March, however, like musicians all over the world, Sol found himself suddenly unemployed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. After 2 weeks of being in an emotional fog, he realized this moment might possibly be a gift. So he decided to enjoy this break from performing and focus on creating. With the blessing of the Smyrna Opera House in Smyrna, DE, Sol moved his recording gear onto their beautiful stage and began to record an album…a tribute to the great Neil Diamond. “Solitary Man” is the culmination of many hours of Sol on that stage during the pandemic quarantine learning all of the guitar, bass, piano and percussion parts to his favorite Neil Diamond songs, and then recording them one by one late into the night. Since it was such a solitary experience, it only made sense to name the album “Solitary Man”. We hope you will join us for this wonderful celebration of Neil Diamond’s music! About Sol Knopf Website | YouTube | Facebook | Instagram Sol Knopf is an award winning, American singer/songwriter and solo performer best known for his distinctive baritone voice and timeless original songs. His moving single “My Baby Girl” (co-written with Geri Smith) has been touching lives all over the world since it’s release in 2013. The YouTube video for “My Baby Girl” is currently on it’s way toward one million views. Produced by Grammy nominated Jim Salamone, “My Baby Girl” is included on Sol’s CD “Sea Change” (2013). With over 7,000 performances in his career, Sol has toured the USA fronting show bands, been lead guitarist with Atlantic Records recording artists Mike Hines and the Look, has appeared on the Nashville Network and has been blessed to frequently share the stage with Grammy Award winning, Hall of of Fame inducted and accomplished hit songwriters such as Tony Arata, Doug James, Don Henry, Craig Bickhardt, Michael Johnson, Thom Schuyler and many more.

Rat Pack Together Again

Experience Frank, Dean, and Sammy – the Rat Pack – once again performing a wonderful mix of songs and comedy sketches!Tony Sands as Frank SinatraJeff Foote as Sammy Davis Jr.Robert Cabella as Dean MartinThe show features everything from the individual hits of their early days to the memorable music created when these three singing sensations united. In addition, their onstage banter is a true reflection of the presence The Rat Pack offered in the Las Vegas entertainment scene for years. About the Rat Pack Website A MUST-SEE SHOW! Boy bands come and go, some leave a great impression, and others become a part of history and die out together with the generations that listened to them. However, there are groups or real men, singing and performing, but not in the modern ages. Back in the ’60s there was a group of entertainers called Rat Pack. That wasn’t, of course, the name they chose to be called, but the one given by press and general public. The Rat Pack is mostly known for their movies and live performances in casinos all over US, but particularly in Las Vegas.Although they only brought out albums, or rather collections, of songs in the 2000s, some of which they sung as a group, earlier they only did music separately. Still people refer to it as Rat Pack music and songs, mostly because they were so popular, so that only Frank Sinatra had an image for himself outside the group. There are even thousands of Rat Pack impersonators all over the world, and they take it to a whole new level with all of their jokes and the modern adaptation of what they were doing in the ’60s.Some of the best songs that are known as Rat Pack music were made by Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. The songs ‘Everybody Loves Somebody’ by Dean Martin and ‘Strangers in the Night’ by Frank Sinatra are the most popular ones. But there are also ‘That’s Life’ and ‘My Way’ by Frank Sinatra and also ‘I’ve Gotta Be Me’ by Sammy Davis, Jr. The three of them were the only members of the Rat Pack to really do popular music that was not only good, but also commercially successful. If you want to listen to some of them today, you can purchase them online, or even order a CD or record copy of them.

Amish Outlaws

Featured as a “Top Entertainment Pick” in New York Magazine’s 2012 “In a very short time, this band has captured the hearts, minds, and butter churners of the masses with their hilarious onstage performances of everything from Bon Jovi to Snoop & Dre.” – Night & Day Magazine About Amish Outlaws Website | Facebook | Instagram | YouTube It is a little-known fact that most Amish practice a tradition similar to the Christian “Confirmation” and Jewish “Bar Mitzvah” called “Rumspringa” (literal translation: “running around”) in which Amish children at the age of 16 have an opportunity to live free of the strict Amish code of conduct before deciding if they want to come back and be baptized into the Amish church. Surprisingly, virtually all of the youths return. But sometimes they don’t. Four out of the original six members of The Amish Outlaws were born and raised in Lancaster, PA and had a strict Amish upbringing. No electricity from land lines, no alcohol, no musical instruments, but their spirits were too wild for the Amish lifestyle. Once they trampled in the Devil’s Playground, there was no turning back. In the years since Rumspringa, the members of the Amish Outlaws have become very well acclimated to the pleasures and vices of the modern world… music, most of all. Thus, with a bold lust for life and a fire for music and performance that can only come from 16 years of repression, The Amish Outlaws were unleashed upon the world.

Not Fade Away: A Young Buddy Holly Tribute

This is rock ‘n’ roll like you’ve never heard (or seen) before! This young group has been taking the country by storm with their amped-up renditions of classic hit songs from legends like Buddy Holly and more! About Not Fade Away Website | Facebook | YouTube Not Fade Away is a tribute to the music of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, The Big Bopper, and more! This is not your typical imitation show, six talented young artists bring the songs of yesteryear to a whole new life that will get you up on your feet and dancing the night away!  When you look out over the landscape of tribute bands, you may notice that there are a lot of them dedicated to Buddy Holly, so you might wonder, what is so different about Not Fade Away? Not Fade Away was created out of survival. But not the survival of the players in the band. The band’s young members have played to audiences in national tours and regional productions of various shows. Not Fade Away was created out of the survival of this incredible, legendary and important music created well over 50 years ago.  Having also been a part of many standard tribute shows, Not Fade Away wants to create a new show that will keep this music relevant, give it edge, bring it into today’s music scene, while not forgetting the importance of the music’s place in history and the impact it had on the world. Not Fade Away hopes to revamp and regift those songs to a new generation so that they may last another 50 years.

Echoes – The American Pink Floyd

North America’s Number One Pink Floyd Tribute! Fans of Pink Floyd will love the recreation of your favorite sights and sounds as Wilmington based Echoes takes the Milton Theatre stage!About Echoes Website | Facebook | YouTube | TwitterWe love the music of Pink Floyd. I mean really love it. So when we set out to create a Pink Floyd tribute, it had to be good. Really good. The music deserves it and Pink Floyd fans deserve it. YOU deserve it. So we set about making a check list: Three uber talented backup singers to do all the great vocals on Wish You Were Here and Dark Side? Check. A rocking sax player to cover all Dick Parry’s great saxophone parts? Check. Three guitar players to do all the intricate guitar harmonies on The Wall and Animals? Check. A killer keyboard player to cop not only the playing of Rick Wright but also the intricate keyboard and synthesizer sounds? Check. And a solid rhythm section to hold it all together? Check. But we didn’t stop there. We set about recreating all the sound effects and soundscapes so essential to recreating Pink Floyd’s music. Screams, heartbeats, plane crashes and the “secret message” – it’s all there! Then we hired a lighting designer to add an awesome light show tuned to the music. Then we brought in a certified laser operator with over twenty years experience to make the light show just that much more… well…. Floydian. But we weren’t done yet. Then we added almost 3 hours of live and animated video content to project on to our custom made, 10 foot round video screen. Whew! But let’s get back to the music. Light shows and videos are great, but Pink Floyd is first and foremost about music. If the music isn’t performed well, with energy and passion, no amount of lights and lasers will help. We work very hard to give you a show that is worth the money, worth your time, worth the music. Come out and let us wow you and help us keep live Pink Floyd music alive and well, done right, done with passion, done with respect for the music. Done for you. Shine On!
