From Broadway anti-heroes to Disney antagonists – and even pop songs that revel in villainy – this session dives into the dramatic world of the “bad guys.” Students will explore why villains often get the BEST songs, the BOLDEST choices, and the most UNFORGETTABLE moments on stage! Through acting, singing, and movement, we’ll uncover how these characters are often misunderstood rather than truly evil, celebrating their complexity, their motivations, and the powerful stories they bring to life! About Musical Theatre Ensemble FEATURE VIDEOOur Musical Theatre Ensemble (MTE) classes will focus on each of the three main concentrations of musical theater; voice, dance, and acting. Great emphasis will be placed on recognizing the relevance of each discipline as it relates to musical theater and preparing students for auditions and musical theatre performances. Each class period will be devoted to- 1) vocal development, 2) improving acting skills, 3) learning choreography; all to help students develop musical theatre skills. The culmination of this course will result with students gaining a broader understanding of musical theater from their participation in a fun and exciting musical theatre performance experience that will increase their abilities and help them to become well rounded performers. About Triple Threat Ensemble Act, Sing & Dance! Triple Threat Training Program is an audition-only 10-week program on Tuesday nights. To join the Milton Theatre’s Triple Threat Training Program, students must be dual-enrolled in Musical Theatre Ensemble for that session. A key term in musical theatre training is learning to be a ‘triple threat performer’, which means the ability to act, sing and dance to a high standard. The Triple Threat classes at the Milton Theatre bring these three disciplines together into a unified whole. The emphasis in these classes is to strengthen each of the elements equally to create a well-rounded Triple Threat performer. Only 10 students are accepted into the program each session

Noodles as he is affectionately known, was born to perform this music. He started singing CCR songs in his very first band when he was only 13 years old. CCR was an American rock band active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Their musical style encompassed the roots rock and swamp rock genres. Creedence Clearwater Revival’s music is still a staple of American radio airplay and the band has sold 30 million albums in the United States alone. The show is very faithful to a live CCR performance. Listeners enjoy a full 90 minute show of their favorite CCR classics (Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary, Up Around the Bend to name a few) and songs that Creedence would turn into live jams such as Born on the Bayou and Susie Q. The band also mixes in John Fogerty classics including The Old Man Down the Road and Centerfield capturing the energy of his current show.

Every Friday and Saturday night, in the basement of O’Flaherty’s Ale House on Manhattan’s Restaurant Row, Brad and a small group of piano players faced off on two Casio Celviano keyboards for a four-hour singalong with an audience that grew from 10 to far beyond legal capacity. From there the show moved through several incarnations and locales over the course of a decade, from Times Square to Virginia Beach, and eventually landed at Bar Nine in NYC, where Brad and fellow performer James Barr formed THE FLYING IVORIES.With a rotating roster of top performers from around the country, THE FLYING IVORIES deliver an all-request, rock and roll sing-along for weddings, fundraisers, company outings, holidays, birthdays, bachelorette parties, virtual events and more.

The Chesapeake Brass Band is Delaware’s only 35 piece all-brass concert band developed in the tradition of British Brass Bands formed during England’s industrial revolution of the late 1800’s.
