10-week program running from February 21, 2023 – May 9, 2023 on Tuesday nights. Musical Theatre Ensemble presents: “False Fairy Tales!” Join us for a magical MTE session filled with your favorite fairy-tale-themed songs from the radio and Broadway! Featuring songs from Cinderella, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, ABBA, and more!About Musical Theatre Ensemble The Musical Theatre Ensemble is a 10-week program on Tuesday nights from 5:30-7:30pm. $320 program fee. (Fee is non-refundable once enrolled)Our Musical Theatre Ensemble (MTE) classes will focus on each of the three main concentrations of musical theater; voice, dance, and acting. Great emphasis will be placed on recognizing the relevance of each discipline as it relates to musical theater and preparing students for auditions and musical theatre performances. Each class period will be devoted to- 1) vocal development, 2) improving acting skills, 3) learning choreography; all to help students develop musical theatre skills. On March 10, 1975, The Rocky Horrow Show opened on Broadway at the Belasco Theatre, starring Tim Curry and featuring Meatloaf and “Ritz” O’Brien.
